Meyer Material Handling Products, Inc. is a full service material handling products distributor. In 1974 Wayne and Carolyn Meyer founded the company with the vision of servicing industry in central Indiana with their material handling needs. From the onset they operated with an earnest desire to place the needs of their customers first, focusing on service.
As the business progressed, Meyer became the distributor of more than two hundred manufacturers. Catalogs were mailed to industry all over Indiana and salesmen were hired to call on customers.
In 1992, a sales branch was opened in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta office has been successfully completing facility layout projects since its inception. As companies continue to become automated and computerized the material handling business is changing. Meyer keeps up with today's environment by offering products that perform well at competitive prices.
Our customer list contains many Fortune 500 companies. We have developed and maintained relationships with our customers by providing quality solutions for storage/handling systems, such as, push back/flow and other specialty racking, automated storage/retrieval and automated data collection. Conveying systems solution and integration with existing systems are also well within our capabilities.
We sell and install Garment Handling Systems by using an overhead rail (pipe) and inexpensive trolleys. These systems are very flexible in design, and are very inexpensive when compared to the alternates.
As well as the above systems we offer many standard products in our catalog for shelving, racks, carts, lifts, casters, hoists and in-plant offices.
The company has been at its present location, 3904 South Arlington Avenue in Indianapolis since 1983. An established, reputable and conscientious firm who is dedicated to the successful completion of each order and every project. A committed, experienced and educated group of employees who address your concerns promptly and efficiently. Presently, Meyer is doing business in many cities with large and small companies.
